Electric road trip in Portugal: charging, range and tolls
Portugal is one of the easiest countries in Europe to cross in an electric car. The only real work is planning, and that is the part we take off your hands.
Range planning
Plan on 300 to 450 km of real-world range in a Taycan, depending on route, equipment, weather and driving style. Daily distances on ATLNTX routes are typically 150 to 350 km, so charging is a pause, not a project.
Fast charging
A Taycan can charge from 10 to 80% in around 18 minutes on a compatible fast charger. ATLNTX routes are planned around reliable charging infrastructure, and you receive a charging card for the vehicle.
Tolls
Many Portuguese motorways use electronic tolls. On an ATLNTX expedition toll charges are included, so there is nothing to register or settle.
Returning the car
Vehicles are returned with at least 80% battery unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Every ATLNTX expedition is private and built around you. No groups, no schedules.
